Kanye West has sparked massive outrage after appearing in an interview wearing a black Ku Klux Klan-style robe and a swastika necklace. The rapper, 47, also wore a T-shirt designed by disgraced musician Sean “Diddy” Combs during his discussion with DJ Akademiks on Rumble. West later revealed that he had custom-made the robe, including a matching white version, but hesitated to wear it in public, fearing he might be institutionalized for his controversial attire.

Social media users condemned West’s outfit as “disgusting” and “disturbing,” with many questioning how he could justify such provocative clothing. Critics emphasized the historical significance of the KKK attire, which has long been a symbol of terror against Black communities, and expressed disbelief that West, as a Black man, would wear it. Some commenters also recalled his past controversies, including anti-Semitic remarks in 2022 that resulted in him being dropped by major fashion brands like Adidas and Balenciaga.

In addition to his attire, West made other controversial statements during the interview, including expressing regret over having children with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. He admitted that he never wanted kids with her after their first two months together but believed it was “God’s plan.” West and Kardashian, who were married for six years, share four children. He also used the interview to defend Diddy, despite the ongoing sexual assault allegations against the rapper.
