Several Tesla vehicles were set on fire and shot at during an overnight attack at a Tesla Collision Center in Las Vegas. The perpetrator used Molotov cocktails and firearms, damaging at least five vehicles, with two completely engulfed in flames. The FBI, alongside the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, is investigating the incident, noting that it bears signs of terrorism. Authorities also discovered the word “Resist” spray-painted on the facility’s front doors, further indicating a targeted attack.

Video footage showed the suspect, dressed in black, moving between the vehicles while reaching into a bag. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and firefighters managed to extinguish the flames before they reached the vehicles’ batteries. Tesla CEO Elon Musk condemned the attack, calling it “terrorism” and expressing disbelief at the level of violence. He emphasized that Tesla is simply an electric car company and does not deserve such aggressive attacks.
This attack is part of a broader pattern of violence targeting Tesla facilities across the U.S., including vandalism, graffiti, and shootings. President Trump has condemned the acts and suggested they be classified as domestic terrorism. US Attorney-General Pamela Bondi echoed this sentiment, vowing to pursue severe consequences for those responsible, including individuals orchestrating these crimes behind the scenes. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify the suspect.
